my two cents on recent rori shitstorm [17 Mar 2010|01:44pm] laviefantasque Total lolita drama explosion - I guess no community is ever drama free and especially not the online ones. I guess this is also a huge factor on why I never feel like updating anymore. Why does everybody overreact so much nowadays? Geeze, girls. [I know this makes me sound like a noob going "I thought lolis were 'sposed to be lovelies?" but really, I have no other expression to this than this type of meanness is useless and dumb. I don't know about everybody else, but I *still* feel like I'm wanting lolita to move forward, as a fashion and as a community, so I don't see the need for all the drama.] I understand some confusion and drama but some things really are uncalled for. - Some girls have nothing to do with anything and jump to conclusions. - Other girls bring in personal beef. - In the end, nobody gets anything positive out of this, anyway. In other news I kind of wanted to be more active and apply for mod but I don't think I'd even want to touch any of this. It's really complicated. HOWEVER I found myself pretty capable of not taking sides [and everyone is still on my flist even if maybe I'm not on their or they don't know I exist] so that's something that surprised me. And being more active is something I might still do if I find the time and a way out of the vortex of news and drama. In local news, I am totally effing nervous over the upcoming meet. ARGH! btw I never updated about AFI :'] but this is Hunter late at night when I put my bow [hey, guess who made that one] on his head and totally combined the terms "Holy Hunter" and "holy loli" -both very fun to say- and created the best photo op in my 'fandom' history ever. Would anybody be kind enough to upload it, please?
